I am driving an E39 now. Last weekend, the aircon suddenly went bonkers, the whole control
panel shut off, but the air con vent keeps blowing. So, I park the car one side n shut off the
engine, but the air con keeps on blowing (full blast).
Finally, had to shut off the air con by
taking out the fuse.
Sent it to a workshop, and they say the IC chip panel is shorted so they can't do it. So, questions is
1. Estimated cost of sending the car into PML for repair
2. Any workshop capable of fixing this
I am about to sell the car actually, this problem comes at a bad time. However, I am trying to
ensure that the car is in working conditions when I sell. So anyone, pls advice or help?
