Finally manage to get a nice M5 bmw rim style 166 with the following -

Front 245/35/19

Rear 275/30/19

However car is so sluggish and I can't even hit 100km / per hour.

Is this due to my car being a E60 520i?

Also I need to step harder for my brakes.

It's so frustrating now.

Could there be something wrong with my car or the offset?
I have seen other 520i with 19 or even 20 inch rim

Your inputs will be utmost important.

Cheers.

Before you change your rims everything is ok? Can't even reach 100km/h cannot be just the 20" rim issue in my opinion. Although its a 520 but still a 170 HP car, with 0-100 in less than 10sec. Recommend you send in to workshop for a check.

Not likely because of the rim change only. As Viper has recommended, do send it in to your trusted workshop for a check-up. Not being able to reach 100km/h cannot be related to tyres/rims, but likely engine.
