But I've seen a workshop in JB that chopped a customer $1000 SGD (read ONE THOUSAND and not ringgit) for a VCG change. Customer happened to be a bro and he showed me the receipt.

Cannot compare car servicing with massage/spas.
E.g. S2k goes JB not because it's cheaper or service better, but because he says "don't s**t in your own backyard". In other words, he scared ganna caught by wife
