Not good or no gains or in fact a drop from OEM = one off mod from OEM or with very basic upgrades.
Good = other 'heavy' mods are inclusive or already inclusive.

Based on spending couple of hundreds or even thousands on just an aftermarket air filter (or CAI) for no improvement or worst, decrease in output (proven in dyno tests) e.g. $200 for a mere 3bhp incremen, is not beneficial nor no significance.

The above is of no prejudice and is in regard to, not coupled with other mods.

Bottomline, if one feels good with the mod, by all means go ahead :)

Well bros, I believe it improves fuel consumption n performance to a certain level and it has proven to do it, fm dyno.. If u doubt the product, dun buy. If u hv queries, write in to ask. Whether its worth the money anot is individual. If the product is no good, it will nt b in the market for ages... Juz my 1cents worth...

.

where you heard that aftermarket filter can filter better than stock?
thought they all promote themselves as less restrictive (less filtration) than stock?

I'd get an aftermarket filter for the induction sound and the throttle response. Power gain is negligible to me. A tuning box would be more effective for this.

Stock air filter typically uses paper filters. Its more restrictive and not reusable, and prone to tearing. But if in new condition its filtration is unparalleled (due to pore size).

Planning on getting an ITG panel filter. :)
