how do i reset my trip meter?

hi guys , just got myself a used 2006 e90 323i

question is...how do i reset my trip meter? so i can monitor the total distance travelled on a single tank..

tried pressing and holding that button on the stick behind the steering wheel but to no avail!

help!

Hi Ray,

on the meter: the very small button on the left, pressed and hold for around 5 seconds.....

ok i think i did just that... that small button at the side of the stick right?

the stick where i can check my engine oil level etc ya?

yes must press and hold for awhile..........
i remembered is left button not the right side one...

Its not the "BC" button, its just like any other car (Conti, Jap, etc), there's a black stick sticking out of the glass at the speedo-meter. Just press it and the Odo trip meter will be reset to zero.

you think too highly for e90 la ... to reset the distance travel, just press the little button (stud) that stick out from the speedometer which has been there for donkey years for all kinds of car :.. even my old mazda6 can have trip A and B where i can keep track whole distance and specifc distance for a trip and e90 don't have

I think lorries, taxis and pickups also have that little button there for donkey years :chinese:

it will help if you read the owner's manual.

has always come with the car, even before the trip meters were invented...
