how to diffreciate original bmw rims and replica rims???

as stated at the titile above ....how can we tell??? nowdays ( in kl especially ) all the replica rims seems real....planing to get the original set ..but scared i would be conned..

can anyone explain me how to diffrentiate between the oem rims and replica rims..!!! thank you
any sign or idicator that i can check???

Resemblence will depend on brands and models. Price is the biggest giveaway. The distributor is another clue.

The most common replica is ACS type IV (18" racing version), M3, CSL, M5, M6, Hamann HMII (without Hamann word engraved), M68, Breyton Imagine.......

i think the offset of the replicas are sometimes different from the originals as well. paint finish and weight vary too.

I think replicas comes in more sizes than the originals. U may want to check what r the sizes that the originals come in first.

Thought of changing my rims n I ask for any nice preown AC if any. But they say why use preown as a AC replica from Taiwan only $230/rim !!!! So how to differentiate when u c one ? :juggle:
