How to update: navigation map

Hi all,
I would like to get the latest map on the navigation system. Mine have to insert a Navigation CD for the GPS to work. Does it mean I just need to get the latest CD? If yes, where can I get it n how much?

Waste to update it. The best Sat Nav for me is Waze on my iphone.

Agree and thanks for introducing that to me. I kept my OEM GPS in the box after that. Add me on Waze!

On my way to Malacca 1 fine saturday, Waze told me to exit Air Itam. I don't listen & stuck in 1 hr jam. Curse also no use.

TS, please ask elebest or soundwerkz. Please get them to turn on live traffic message channel for you... then can siam peanut butter jam roads.

Is Waze good? I have used all 3; Google Maps, Apple Maps and Waze, but find Waze difficult to use. Not sure about accuracy.

GPS, Google and apple don't tell you accidents and cops on top / roadblocks.

Waze is definitely accurate as long as there is sufficient user logging in. On Waze, traffic condition can be based on actual usage by user as well as user reports.

The problem with Waze is that there is insufficient user in Sg.

There was once i was driving from Sg to Malacca. Juz before Ayer Itam, Waze told me to exit @ Ayer Itam. I don't listen. Stuck in more than 1 hr jam.

Meek, u know i don't listen to radio.

Not real time, by the time they read out the location of cops on top, I already kena the 6points.

Sygic ex. Papago cheaper. Nothing beat Waze. Free.

Only thing is waze cannot work offline ....

It works.

In Sg, i set my destination in MY. Once i cross border, it still works w/o any data roaming.

The biggest benefit of Waze is real time traffic info based on users feedback.

It even works well in Bangkok for directional only. No traffic info. Maybe no enough users.
