HPFP down....:(

Hi pals,

I know there're many feedbacks and posts about the problematic HPFP of the 335...mine just down recently. Sudden power reduced. Got it changed and mechanic told me that it will probably break down once every year. Quite disturbed-such a beautiful car with great engine, this is really a thorn in the fresh! Now I fear that it will happen again anytime.

Do you fellow 335 owners faced this HPFP breakdown often?
Does PML warranty covers this problem for 10 years in Spore because I Goggle and realised that in US, BMW extended the warranty to cover the 335 HPFP for 10 years after numerous owners complaints.

think only the older 335 will experience that.
take it as a wear n tear item, damage is abt 500-600 every 1-2 years so its not too bad

think its the N54 ones having this issue, never hear any of my customers on N55 complaining abt hpfp

hpfp, u need the likes of rodney, jinooi or Kenn....hehe

The tsb states that you should get the hpfp with the new P/N and code the car so that it prime the LPFP before the hpfp.

If not it will keep spoiling.

yup my 07 335 changed HPFP 2 times in 3.5 years of ownership

Not sure...did mine at BVO, trusted them to do a good job Pray that no other problem in short term.
