I prefer EVO, TG...

Need to ask the resident camel

Re: I prefer EVO, TG...

Allegory: The rhetorical strategy of extending a metaphor through an entire narrative so that objects, persons, and actions in the text are equated with meanings that lie outside the text is obviously something that the author failed to grasp in her essay.

Her write-up is as flat as... :silenced:

Re: I prefer EVO, TG...

Are you talking about the EVO singapore mag? I received a copy today... haven't read yet but the cover page got GT3

Re: I prefer EVO, TG...

Not say I haolian, but when I wrote my piece de resistance in describing the difference between my F02 & F13, I used good allegories that peepur could understand. Well, BMW.sg peepur consperm can understand references about Desker Road workers. :lol2:

N52 vs N55 write up

I highlight the relevant paragraph:

The "kick" if I may call it, comes when you glance down at the speedometer (sorry, my F02 doesn't have HUD) and recoil in a mix of genuine fright and sinful surprise at the position of the needle - 130km/h is breached easier than a Desker Road street worker's aperture, and license-killing speeds of 150km/h and above are easily recorded without so much as a hair out of place.

Re: I prefer EVO, TG...

Local mags are boring, all plagiarising each other. Every sports car corners like "it's on rails..."

Barrister barista, it is the skills that matter and not the tools (in this case the wig!)

Re: I prefer EVO, TG...

Some of these car reviews are written by wannabes.

Try listening to the comments by those sommelier-wannabes. All say under got dragon got phoenix, the cow fly over the moon, but some are more poetic than objective. It is too qualitative.

Re: I prefer EVO, TG...

These days I don't read car mags other than evo (UK edition only) or watches Chris Harris on YouTube. The local commentaries just pale in comparison. And getting worser... I mean what is the whole point of her article? That she got noticed for a day because she drove a lambo? What other car info did the article tell me which I didn't know already?

Maybe I'm being harsh and this is just a senseless weekend read! In the bin!

She's trying to ask, how to improve fc for lambo.
