Hi all,
I'm thinking of getting new rims, so just seeking your opinion on what is the ideal rim size for the said M3 kitted E36?

I currently use 17" BMW OEMs...

What say you mates?

18" is nice but cannot chase Taxi.

Stick to 17" if your M43 engine is not mod!

Does the 18"s slow the car down?

i think it really depends on how you like to drive. personally i didn't find much of a difference. Day to day driving. Get a good set. Those BBSes are not bad imo. Not as heavy as other brands. I'm on BBS 18s also.

depend on the driver... i used 17"... can poke lambo in orchard road.. straight line... 13" also see no lambo taillight.

Well, i gather from this so far its either 17 or 18 inches then~
Haha, thanks mates! I shall certainly look out for a great bargain on the 18" wheels.

Also thanks M42 for your offer, are you a dealer?
Can i trade/ sell off my current set to subsidise the price of the new wheels?

Because i got the car in its original condition and didnt mod the engine for more power, so i'm not sure if 18"s will sorta drag my speed down a little.
As it is, my pick up is rather slow and i hesitate in flooring the pedals all the time.

hi. no i'm not a dealer.
my price includes swapping with your original wheels. $600. (non-nego, very cheap liao)
