wah liao, now got chiong stuff already.. Jin dropped by and showed me this thread. When i saw the photo, i almost fell off my chair. That is a armature taken from a DC motor. You can clearly see the poles and commutator surfaces that the carbon brushes contact in order to generate the necessary magnetic energy to spin the motor. This armature was removed from a can that houses 2 magnets to provide the magnetic field. Now we need to wait for the "expert" in this field to respond..... ha ha...
