Inferior finishing

Just received my E46 325i CKD Last week still enjoying very much the ride. :inlove: But i noticed a few bad finishing works. There is a gap between the body and both rear light, i am worried that water will go in and damage the wiring. and the door window edge got a crack too! View attachment 4653

Its normal to all the E46 ? I saw all the units the same at the dealer place. Cant believe it's a BMW quality.

hmm... yup, guess my car has the gap too, but i dont think there is nothing to worry. My car running for nearly 2 years now and there is no symptom of damaged wiring by water sipping in.

Hi Xuexun, how do u feel about your bimmer in the past 2 years ? giving any problems so far ? Frankly speaking, i enjoy the power and handling also the steptronic gear need to mention also all the automatic sensing device make it feel great! But most of all is the head turning and the prestige feeling that it bring.

Well, my car so far so good, not much of a problem.... except of some irritating squeaking sound from the rear when i step on the brakes. Also my left front speakers also comes on and off. Will get it sorted out in my next service due in another 1200km.. its definately one of the better car thet i've driven since i started driving

Re: Inferior finishing

Check this out - my car had problems closing it's rear door since I bought it (October 04'). This is the aftermath... Apparently the chrome trim on the door is misaligned, eating into the weather seal. Replaced once under warranty, but it happened again, so I am awaiting parts to arrive - the usual 5-6 weeks again... Bastards.
