Installing Bodykit any impact on PML warranty?

I know some insurance firms will void your insurance if you make modifications to your ride example rims or changing your turbo etc. However does installing bodykit which are drilled or screwed on to your bumper have a impact to your warranty with PML?

Sorry if this sounds like a noob question but would be interested to hear your experience or feedback on this subject.

Thanks in advance!

AFAIK PML doesn't blanket withdraw warranty. But they do note down things in your ' record ' .I know of at least one person who went to PML to diagnose a abnormal sound heard while driving and they deemed it to be related to the aftermarket bodykit. If u are referring to just splitters which are screwed onto the bumper,I don't think that they care!

Yes. I can vouch for that.
After I installed 20s on my F10 523 years back, I went back to to ask for front undercarriage check due to knocking sound. SA said its due to my rims. I went to other workshop, its due to worn bushing of the castor arm. I mean the car is still under warranty and if they said i have to pay, I will pay since its wear and tear. But to tell me that its due to the rims, I asked them for a written report to support their diagnostic. As expected, they are not willing to provide. Bunch of rats there...

As with most other company policies, anything that is an 'add-on' privately (not done/sanctioned by the company), they have the right to void warranty. But most often than not, for customer goodwill, most companies will honor the warranty as long as the 'add-on' is not the direct cause of the fault/damage, and that the cost of repair/replacement is not costly.
