wow i wouldn't spend that money on my phone. i change it every 1-2 years. i use it raw... the glass surface is almost scratch free till today... even on my ipad1 which i bought when it launched in australia.

Re: iPhone screen protector & casing.

consider this....

you buy those cheapskate screen protector from ebay or something at maybe max $0.50 each....

with $45, you can buy 90 of it....but chances are, you only need that only one u stick on ur phone....
and ur phone cant be scratch.....

so why spend $45 on a single protector....

just fruit for thought.

well i can't argue that a high quality one will give you clarity, prevent fingerprint, etc.

back in the old days we had plastic pressure-touch screens so we needed them, but with a glass surface nowadays we don't really need a protector. it's like pasting a protector over your watch. my 2c.

unless you want some privacy film etc.

Anti-shattered, anti finger print... but what i like most is glossy and yet it prevents finger print. ....after seeing the crack lines on my colleague's ip screen.... Yes it is not cheap and raw may be the best but the touch and feel of this thick protector is the best i tried....0.50cts vs $50, panda brand rubber vs sagami 0.02mm, worth or not worth.... as long as you feel happy and song can liao....

Most importantly, this accessory reduces the chances of your iPhone screen being damaged by scratches. A Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen on any device is more likely to be damaged by scratches than anything else. Initially, these scratches aren't readily noticed, but as time passes dust will settle in these scratches and make them significantly more visible. These types of scratches are these easiest way to run the efficiency and look of your iPhone. If you just want cheap iPhone screen protectors for protection, then be sure to pick out a "clear" screen protector. You won't be disappointed with your choice.

There's two layers of glass right above the LCD in the iPhone

That's the first layer of protective glass, followed by the touch surface, then finally the LCD. These layers are stuck together. You won't get dust inbetween.

It's going to be a lot of force to break the glass and get to the LCD.
