i'm thoroughly enjoying it... little squeaks here and there which are easily rectified, nothing major.. the car has turned heads, and provided many hours of pleasurable driving.. and brought me to know wonderful people on this forum...

Thank you everyone for the replies. I asked this question is because I've heard that this car has got some problems. A friend of mine could not engage into D gear before and there are threads here that listed down a whole chunk of problems that this car has (although it was posted in 2005). That's why I wanted to check with the current owners here whether the problems had been solved. I actually have other make and models in mind as well although the BMW is top of the list. That's why I dont wish to regret after committing on the BMW.

those scary armageddon threads are teething problems... but i guess that's the risk.. to be the first to get a brand new platform... the problems have been ironed out, loads of owners before you who have had their complains sent to the dealer.
heck, they even changed my window seals for me without me asking, citing it as a common problem reported by a few owners...

Rubbish, those Rubbish(not you) you read/heard are just Rubbish. If these Rubbish exists in the 320i, I would have thrown my 320i away just like Rubbish. Although you call yourself Rubbish, I think you are not Rubbish and neither do you want a Rubbish car in which the 320i is not. I hope you understand what the Rubbish I am talking, which is not Rubbish and dont have to worry end up buying a piece of Rubbish.

You mentioned the word Rubbish a total of 11 times! Wow! I cant think of a nick when I registered so I just used the first word that came to my mind. (Wonder why it was Rubbish as well). Now that all you guys nicely incoroporate my nick into interesting sentences, I'm really starting to like my nick! hahaha..
I've actually asked this question to my SE and he told me that 2007 production got no problems. Is yourself driving an E90 320i? Mind if I ask which year is yours?
