is there going to be a E90 323?

hi there fellow beemer experts,

i am planning to take the plunge into Bemmer World .... due to budget -- was thinking of a 320 with IDrive option.
but a friend of mine suggested waiting another year for the detuned 2.5 engine found in the 523 which he heard will be intorduced in the E90 range...

his reasoning: in-line 6, though detuned, is always better than 4 cly... (plus def. cheaper than E90 325)

Can any bros care to enlighten me?

If u can wait then it's fine...
One person from other thread had his E90 320 stalled on day1........Not that many will experience this but prob best to wait for a bit...At least that is what I would do if I were ya

If not, get those E46 model 325-330 1-2yrs old will be quite nice

IMO, Think its quite unlikely they wld introduce E90 323. jus exactly like why they do not bring in the 325i(sedan) for E46.
They intro for E60 simply becos they dis-continued the 520.

its better to wait abt a yr or so...let them sort out the problems b4 u buy.
don't think there is going to be a 323 and even if they do, PML prob would not bring it in

it would be a waste if they dont bring it in ....
logically they shud introduce the detuned 2.5 in line 6 to the E90 since its already lined up as a entry level 5 Series..
but think i'll wait for a while longer (just to take all you fellow bro advice)......
