Hi Guys,

Any lobang to recommend for 525? I'm looking at one which is manufactured in 2008. Went to one at PML @ Bukit Timah. Staff not very friendly & price very steep! Anyone know of any dealer that specialise in this range of cars? :singsing:

our friend is right, the Premium selection cars at Bt Timah are rather expensive.
and dawn is one friendly sales there ... she's my poly classmates... kelong ah

perhaps you can look out at the Classified for direct owner sales

i'm also thinking of changing my 1yr old 523 for a 530 of 1yr or less if the price is low enough.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the feedback. Anyway has no intention to go back to PPSL for my purchase. I has found a new lobang that can get good quality bimmers: basically they carry quite a good mix of bimmers ranging from 325 Convertible to X3. Managed to visit them this morning & realise that they also carry a good range of Mini Coopers S models. Guess what, most cars there are very new and are 2008 models! Prices lower than PPSL & I found my 525 back unit there going for 158k.

Will be making my trip there again this evening for a test drive. In case you guys wonder where is this place, it is located at Balmoral Plaza & their cars are parked at B3. Look for Andy (same as my name), friendly & able to explain details to you.

Once I got my car, will share my pictures up here! :yummie:

i heard of Cyber Cars at Havelock doing their own imports too other than those regular advertisers in straits times.
but not sure if their cars are much cheaper than PML

Thanks but Cyber carry imported cars also. Btw, I just booked my 525 at Balmoral Plaza. Considered quite a good deal as this car is equipped with GPS & only 3 mths old. Fyi, the company name is called Presto Expat Motoring & they do carry many models of pre-owned BMWs for sales. Check it out!!!!:)

At first my neighbour introduced me Cyber Cars as a workshop for BMW only.
Then i met a friend of mine who told me he got a PI porsche from Cyber at a good price and he told me Cyber bring in BMWs too.

BTW how much you got your 525?
525 comes with Navigation all the while.
If i'm not wrong, yours come with suction door? And the sound system is great.
My 1 yr old 523 sound system sucks.

Not likely to trade my car for the 530 cos of great price diff and i will lose too much for this 1yr old 523.
Have already checked out some engine tuning stuff from others in here, will stay with it for some time.

Got mine @155k. Current stock at PML for their 525 does not come with GPS. Yes you're right, my car is also euipped with suction doors. Considered quite a good deal for me as the car is registered in Jul 08 & mileage only 4000km. Was told by salesperson that all their BMWs were purchased from BMW Asia. Hmmm...will recommend to my friends about this place!!

hmm, does your bmw asia car only come with 2 years standard bmw warranty instead of 3 years? coz if you get from PPSL they +1 year for most cars... so it'll be like almost 3 years warranty instead of 2? Can you confirm that the bmw asia cars only have 2 years?

bmw comes with 2 yrs warranty from manufacturer but pml provides the 3rd year warranty

Wow andy, you got it at really good price, brand new ones cost about 200k at that time.

When i bought my car, there's even the 523 HIGHLINE and 525 which comes with BMW RADIO PROFESSIONAL and GPS but price was a bit higher than current 525

Cheers for your new buy.
How i wish i could pick up a 530 with suction door, Radio professional, GPS ..........

Yes the car comes with standard 3 yrs warranty from the original date of registration of the car. As my 525 was registered in July 08, it still carry approx 2yrs & 8mths warranty period. That speaks why their cars there are priced lower than PPSL. In fact, I notice they constantly bring in cars from there & most are few months old bimmers.

Mine is Black with beige interior. The blue you mentioned was sold earlier before I booked mine. Btw, went to collect my ic that day & was told there will be more 525 coming in next month - all 2008 model & less than 3 mths old! Those who are shopping for one should drop by this place. Recommend good buy!!!:)
