M owners,
I was reading through my manual last night and I understood that my M coupe was limited to 250km/hr.
Thumbing through more pages and i saw there was a specification which stated, with the M Driver's Package* my top speed would be 275km/hr.
Unfortunately there was no other information in the book, OR online. I assume that this is a DME reflash/delimiter that BMW doesn't talk about openly.

"Recently I had my M5 E60 silverstone reconfigured by my official BMW dealer. I had the intention already some time to remove my V-MAX (speed limit), and looked at Hartge and others. Then I found out that BMW has the M driver package, which also removes the limiter . I had to miss my car for 1 week, my DME computer was removed and shipped to M München and re-programmed. V-MAX now is 305 km/h, you have to experience this speed...). Further more, into this package I also received this great voucher of BMW M to do a 1 and half day M - training on the Nürnburg ring, fullboard, insurance, etc... Race track season is now closed, but I can choose some dates next february. Will keep you updated."
