I think it will be informative and educational.

Re: Mods and mods- The outcome!

Ok as for mine, the best mod I ever did that I felt has the highest value for dollar ratio are the Big Brake Kits.....

The BBKs give you much more confidence once you are on the road. Be it traffic stops, sudden e-brakes by the vehicle in front or to engage emergency evasive actions.

Yes it may be costly but it sure as hells keeps me really satisfied.... Worth EVERY single penny of it :)

Re: Mods and mods- The outcome!

Yeah, no doubt that having a BBK set up is my fav too..similar reasoning..

The most I regret was the Huper Optik window tinting that disappoints as far as the heat shield promises to perform. I think's not effective...Even my cheapo brand used on Tucson performs way way better and it costs bout 500 bux or so vs 800 bux in the HO

Thanks Barry...
The rest, keep em coming...let's hear ya view..

Re: Mods and mods- The outcome!

I dare not talk about my fav mod so I will talk about my second fav mods which are my Recaro seats. saved 80 plus kg with them, swee swee! With less weight, you get better braking, acceleration and handling. Tested and proven. Plus the seats hold you so nicely in place.

Re: Mods and mods- The outcome!

My fave mod... so far... Should be my Hifi. Gives me alot of joy when I commute about 1-2 hours.
2nd Fave mod are the PS2 tires I got on right now. They feel more solid w/ better gripping bower than my previous Falken 326s.

Re: Mods and mods- The outcome!

I got no mods leh.................My car is still very stock.

Re: Mods and mods- The outcome!

I like all my mods and it's kinda of difficult to say which is favourite favourite. But some mods cost more, some less. The most smile-per-$ mod has to be the M-steering wheel with paddleshift!

Re: Mods and mods- The outcome!

For me, it wld be in the following order:

(i) UUC pulley
(ii) exhaust
(iii) CAI

Re: Mods and mods- The outcome!

My biggest mod ever is the EVO MR. Still very happy today.

2nd fav mod is the BC coilovers. Really handles well.

Cheers!

Re: Mods and mods- The outcome!

Apologise for my ignorance. I read with interest on the BBK upgrade. Can someone enlighten me on what is the upgrade about?

It's an upgrade on braking system which typically incl: larger calipers ( more pistons ) , larger (and likely thicker ) disc rotors ( be it solid, slotted or cross drilled ), change of brake hose to the stainless steel one from the stock rubber, and of coz, a larger brake pads...

Re: Mods and mods- The outcome!

ok so far favourite 1. headers +decat
2. ecu-remap
3. exhaust
4. CAI
coming up may be looking to change my differentials. supposed to hv good increased in torque n power to wheels....but hvnt heard a lot being said about it here...so still thinking.

also i think when we talk about mods...maybe we stick to performance mods? tint n ICE etc..considered mods meh? more like lifestyle enhancements...to me.

(2) Engine : Gruppe M Intake, ACS Exhaust, OWS Uber Power Twin Iridium

I am happiest with (1) UUC SwayBarbarians ARB; (2) Braided Hoses as far as value / utility per dollar is concerned. Needs no further explanation.

Re: Mods and mods- The outcome!

Favourite mod: Rims!

So far, no mods that I'm unhappy with..if unhappy, then why mod in the first place? Kekeke

Re: Mods and mods- The outcome!

Agree with Barry. Definately the BBKs! Nothing else comes close to it - for me at least.
