Sorry to hijack your thread. That's a nice 318Ci Cab u have there!

New to the beamer. Wondering if parts are ready available for this model and the older generation 318ci like the 96 year model. Do they share similar exterior and engine parts?

Where would be a good place to service the 3 series? Do you have a good mechanic to recommend?

Hi RIX,

1996, E36 318i is 1.8L (118hp) but this 318i is 2.0L (156hp) Valvetronic engine (better)

totally different inside out...........

do check out the site sponsors for workshop.........

remember is Bimmer.......

Thks ac323. Actually wife cant bear to depart with this FUN cabriolet and like NEW car but we cannot secure a 2nd parking lot for our new place.
