My DIY Protoype Heatshield

Its still a work in progress heat shield but its already producing results.

I used ironing board covers to wrap around the AFM and rubber duct. The heatshield is constructed of 5mm foam boards wrapped with an external layer of iron board cover.

The drop in temp is very noticeable. Previously, my AFM and filter will be very hot to the touch after 30min drive. Now, its just warm to touch. I estimate there is at least a 10C drop in temp.

Engine also feels more lively now.....lol....
