N52B25 upgrades

hello! does anyone know if there are any upgrades available for the N52B25 engine? mine is the Z4 sdrive23i. alittle underpowered. bearing in mind that the sdrive23 is much more underpowered compared to the 325i coupe.

question 1, are there any available mods ranging from small upgrades to the major ones?

question 2, are there any available supercharger/turbocharger kits available for the N52B25?

Hi chester,

not really underpowered....put to sports mode (quite ok) and as compared the weight of a coupe vs a roadster so overall still ok .....

mods:
1) Volker Spec II plugs
2) K&N Air-Filter
3) ECU re-mapped
4) Velocity (no hp gain) but it helps to improve on the throttle response....
5) there a light weight pulley-kit but not sure if it helps

this magnesium engine block can't do SC.......

Agree with ac323, 1 - 5 all easily available and effective.

Not sure if #1 is avail though. Maybe Spec 1 avail only. Call Rodney.
Even if can SC, you sure you wana do it while car's still under warranty?

Why would velocity or sprint booster help when you are going to be doing a reflash anyway? As far as I know, the reflash should be able to do something to the throttle so that it becomes more sensitive. At least that's what my reflash did but I don't really like that feeling of not being able to control the throttle fully hence will be asking the tuning boss to revert back to stock throttle response but of course keep the extra torque / hp.

Will 2) or 3) affect the PML guarantee?

Anyway chester, 4) doesn't increase the power of the car....and I'm not sure if it is still needed after 3) is done....
