Same sentiments here. If I was 'them', I would never buy an E-Class, never ever.

Anyway, never have been a Merc fan/lover since young. No offense intended to Merc drivers/fans/lovers/wannabes.

I think nothing special. Current owners can just zhng AMG kit and sart rims to differentiate themselves if they want. In some european countries i see E60 and F10 as taxi also. Maybe in future we will have bmw taxi in sg as well.

For white, black and silver E-Klasse owners, sure a bit suck thumb to see their cars mistakenly flagged down like a taxi....

I think nothing special. Current owners can just zhng AMG kit and sart rims to differentiate themselves if they want. In some european countries i see E60 and F10 as taxi also. Maybe in future we will have bmw taxi in sg as well.

Ultimately, just ensure e ride is not of e same model especially model+colour combi

I wonder how does this make business sense. How much is the car, even as PI?

$200K. Plus loan interest... with a life span of 7 years (taxi 7 yrs right?) that will give it an annual depreciation of at least $2,600 per month.

$2K for monthly diesel.... does this make business sense?

Taxi company where got lugi one. You go calculate omv 45k*2.27 and coe 42k(0.7*60)...assuming daily rental is $120, 7 years will get back 299k in rental. Minus road tax, insurance and maintenance, still left healthy profit.
