New Car Run-in Time

Greetings to all am very new to this forum but have already found out that people here are indeed very nice and helpful! Hope to participate more and get to know you guys better

I'm currently driving a E90. Does anyone knows how far should a new car be travelling, to be considered as Run-in? what should the milleage be?

hmmmm... according to SE from PML the engine has been factory run-in... but just in case, i only start to drive harder after 3000km... Can any expert here advise?

oops i whacked my new 323 after 1k .....did it on NS h'way. ave 160kmh hehe.... now after 1.5 mths, my ride is still in tip top condition Phew!!!! So i thk its safe to say its ok to do it after 1k la
