We all know how biased sometimes people can be... if you recall the letters in the papers sometime ago (think it is today or TNP)... about a reader who spoke up against "BMW" drivers who speed and drive like nuts...

well i had the opportunity of meeting one such driver in a dark grey E90 number SGA XXXX... nicely lowered with 18 rims i think..debadged...

not sure if this chap is in our forums..

I had a clear view from behind... i was in lane 1, merc A class in lane 2, and BMW in lane 3... BMW tries to overtake from the left, but gets stuck behind a slow car in lane 3 (of course right.... its not called lane 3) for nothing... what transpires is then beyond me... he tries to filter into lane 2 (the merc is there), but there isnt enough space to squeeze in....

SO what does he do?? BMW then drifts into lane 2, as in really physically, whole car body, entire length of car just drift into lane 2 sideways... i was like 'what the???".. i thot going to "bang" already... but merc driver i think had a shock and was forced to swerve into lane 1 (my lane)...

lucky i already noticed something happening so i ease off throttle, and right foot on brake already...

it cant be blind spot issue cos the BMW was right NEXT to the merc!!!!!!???!!

Now, that is what i call pretty rude driving... totally deserving of mention in this forum.. not only that, it is also dangerous +++.

I then happen to follow him for sometime and we exited at the same exit... was observing - he didnt signal a single time despite switching lanes on several ocassions.

Time to go back to driving school dude!

not restricted to bmws though
just saw an evo8 playing chasingwith an audi 2 seater last week with no concern abt the rest of the cars on ecp.
but the worst i seen was a matrix driving nut who drives it like a racecar....saw him end up banging into a toyota wish exiting delta exit from aye when he accelerated like mad after the red light changed to green

Too many idiots on the road. Where's the TP when you need them? Small hatch backs driven like Lambos on the ring, Bimmers driven by blindf*cks who have simply no regard for the safety of others, Mercs driven by stubborn pricks who think they have god's given right to take up 2 lanes at one time. Mann....the list goes on. Bottom line is, car price does not equate to driver etiquette.

TP eh....well as per yesterday recollection.
i saw a team escorting some impt person at MTI.
A few TPs directing traffic at the congested 3 lane road outside Golden Mile Complex, all thanks to the big tour buses.
1 TP on small scooter stopping an ah pei driving yellow top cab.
dun worry, they will be coming out soon......u won't miss their roadblocks come Xmas and New year..hahaha

These days I am equipped with my humble Nokia N93 video phone. That day I asked my wife next to me in my car to video one K#####B black WRX who tailgate a Merc so close and I saw him keep flashing high beam at the merc from behind when the freaking CTE had enuf gaps for him overtake, albeit from the left. I think this type of AhSeng(not Ah beng) drivers get erection when they tailgate an expensive car. The speeding up to people's arse and then hard braking gives them a turn on. Then his ego kicked in further and he decided to in/out between many cars. Come on it was 8.15am or so along CTE.

Too bad the video didnt capture his car plate no. and had some obstruction from other cars. Others he will be on candid camera on mycarforum, carma forum, subaru forum, etc

well...we would need to know what speed they are going anyway
there are lotsa assholes out there who loves tailgating for no reason.
on the other hand, there are also drivers who drive at slow speed hogging the centre and right lane on expressways.....we are not there so we dun really make good judges for that incident. Ah Beng the best judge sia cos he's there...haha
if it can motivate him to take note of a car and took take pic with hp,.....that driver really must be doing something wrong to get ppl's attention

Not all BMW drivers are assholes, I kanna a few toyota VIOS/Altis driver with 100% tinted glass & big spoiler who think they got 200hp, overtaking me after tailgate me for fun, hope they know many BMW have BBK braking, i only can say those driver "The heart holds answers the brain refuses to see" ! cheers!

i too have had the privilege of encountering many a vios on the roads...but they one-up..they got boeing jet wings!!! guess it must be a nice car to drive, because those i saw happened to be driving 2 fast 2 furious..quite a few young ones too when i check out their faces at the lights...

Ever once walk pass Eunos Ave car workshop, just happen to count 7 VIOS & 2 Altis with their front bonnet seriously damage! point proven their brakes got problem thou they have Brembo calipers cover!

Well, if they can modify the wing - perhaps install some hydralic servos to change the angle of the wing to FULL DEFLECTION against the wind. But then, the car would willy upwwards...haha

On a personal note, if a car wanna change lane with signal light, I will gracefully allow him/her to do so if situation permits. It's a form of respect and courtesy to signal to others your intention. If you respect me, I respect you too.

However, if a car change lane without any signals and require me to use my brakes (due to distance to near), I will horn him as a warning that it's impolite and dangerous!
