Update 10/2/12
Had a MRI done and the results are as follows:
There is a 9mm x 8mm tear of the insertional foot print of supraspinatus tendon on the greater tuberosity. There is a large amount of fluid in the subacromial-subdeltoid bursa.
So, I am scheduled for an op later this month and should be one-arm hero for the next 6-8 weeks. Doctor said I should not drive....
I strained my right deltoid muscles (the muscle forming the rounded contour of the shoulder) and feel an excruciating pain everytime I try to lift my arm, even for simple things like brushing teeth. It has been a few months already. I suspect that I strained it lifting my luggage up and down overhead compartments in the plane. I cannot remember which month or which plane.
Have tried TCM massage several times but not effective. So, I was advised to seek the help of a sports therapist. Anyone to recommend?
