Porsche is not for Daily drive, Z4/SLK for daily Drive

A used-Car Salesman ( selling porsche , SLK and Z4) tells me that Porsche is not meant
for daily drive whereas Z4/SLK are meant for daily driving. I have asked him to explain what he
means by that--unfortunately he cannot explain in ways I can understand

Can anybody try to explain in Simple Layman Language?

SLK/Z4 = wife/GF = daily, eng siew

I think he meant he is keen in selling the Z4/SLK in his inventory and not that Porsche cause the margin from that Porky might be too miniscule......

TT is meant for alternate days lah. TTS meant for once every 3 days.

ask the used car salesman got cheap toyota altis boh cos the uncles all say its a cheap, durable, everyday....drive anytime drive.

Just trying to understand the Technical Jargon of Car LOvers
-- Try to understand what is the meaning of Handling, What do people mean when they say a car is good for track , but
not good for road
--- Trying to understand the World of car lovers -- so that upgrading brake/ RIMS/Wheels, fixing body kits , installing spoilers would be more meaningful

Porsche is a daily drive car.
I use it everyday and also for track events.
Got my 997 brand new from agent mileage is 31k for a 13months old car. Daily drive to the max!!
Whoever the salesman is he has no experience in cars.

Porsche is more reliable than BMW. Of coz must use as a daily. Just go with your heart and decide which drives better or looks better for you.

To rely on a saleman's pitch will make you look dumb, unless he is related to you and gives serious advice.

Some, if not all of the answers ya searching for can be found much faster by googling than posting and waiting for replies on forums

P.s installing spoiler is always very meaningful. Don't believe people who tell u they install it for the looks. Can really make your car go twice as fast as stock. Remember to invest in a wind tunnel facility to find out exactly where and how to pitch the spoiler

It's quite refreshing to see someone who can buy a used Porsche/Z4/SLK being so dependent

I believe if u clock high mileage (20k+ km per year) for your porsche, u will have difficulty selling it in future and prepare to give a big discount. Same goes to any other sports car.

usually porsche owners will have another daily car.
