Is it possible to install an auxillary cable in a stock 2004 6 series without replacing the original HU?

I believe yes. I did it in mine. Does your CD player play MP3?

Hmmm not sure if it plays MP3, need to check. But I can't see where they can pull the AUX cable from. Where did you install yours?

There are generally 2 locations. I had mine installed in the glove compartment cause my MacMini is installed there and the sound feed goes through there.
