Re: PPSL Easy-Drive

The math does not make sense.

In the example, the downpayment cannot be $0 for monthly $2000 over a 42 month lease period

Re: PPSL Easy-Drive

leasing is not a good idea! You will end up spend more than you should. The car will never be yours, there are bunch of rules and regulations that you will have to abide with, please think thrice before you sign the dotted line!

Re: PPSL Easy-Drive

For most - In Singapore the car is never yours ...... If you have a loan - it belongs to the bank and you are a hirer.

If you managed to pay off the loan.....gahmen would say pay COE else no car for you.

Different story for the guys who pay for the car in full ........

even you pay full. after 10 years you still need to let go (assuming 99% do not renew)

so the moral of the story, we are all on ppsl easy drive scheme ...

Looks interesting.. anybody knows how it actually works?

Performance Premium Selection Limited - Easy Drive

Leasing looks like the way of the future. And yes, current buying system does not mean the car is ours. Only diff is that we can mod. But if I lease 335, no need mod liaos. Rd Tax, insurance, all in. Huat!

Re: PPSL Easy-Drive

If on PPSL, no depreciation other than just expenses.

Before COE came along I would see people just keep driving their classics. I wanted to keep my fully paid up Z4 which depreciated to just $40k and was happy to see it out for another 20 years. Then gahmen ask for 85k COE. My well maintained Z4 turned into a metal cube somewhere.

Damned .......
