Pre-LCI E90 Side Skirt Wrecked

Hey guys,

Sorta had an unlucky encounter when I allowed someone to drive my car.

As shown in the attached photos - the left side skirt has been detached and wrecked.

Called up a few workshops and they quoted $800-$1k+ for ordering of new part + installation.

I sorta find this a rip-off, but just wanted to ask around here if anyone knows a better solution?

Was thinking of driving up north - but that might be too inconvenient. I don't mind 2nd hand part.

I've only a year left of COE on this car - so don't wish to spend too much for something that's cosmetic >.<

In addition - the bottom area of my front bumper has cracked. Would be good too if anyone can provide me with information on how to replace the entire part for cheap. When it cracked - went to SIN MIN to have it patched up and spray painted for around $350 (complete rip-off, but workshop did it without my confirmation consent).

Thanks ;)

Hi maybe you can check with scrap yard for the cost of the skirt.

Another source is go ask spray paint workshops if they have any left over from previous upgraded owners.

Since you left one year of COE dont waste time repair. Go to Ubi Johnson to cover it with Silver sticker.
