Hi all,
I am driving an E46 325Ci and facing some challenges with my AC. The readings on the dashboard tends to show +50c external temperature and sometime -40c. I read up and apparently it could be the Ambient Temperature sensor which is faulty thus giving a false reading. As a result,my fan doesn't seem to be powering up and the AC gets erratic whenever I drive at certain speeds. There is a audible beep sound that comes on and off whenever it acts it. Has anyone experience this before and where could I go get it resolved here without burning a hole in my trousers?
Tried checking the undercarriage near passenger side to find the sensor but to no avail. Help appreciated. Thanks
george
