Question on 116i urban line

Bros, need some advice. As my 116i will be delivered sometime end june. Couple of questions which i hope u guys can help me with

1. Understand the 116i comes with bi xenon bulbs. I currently driving a wrx 07 auto jdm version. my hid bulbs are the D2S type. Would like to check if the D2S bulbs can be fitted onto the 116i? reason is my bulbs are the philips type and cost close to 500 bucks, kinda waste to leave it on the car and trade it in.

2. rims. the 116i comes with the Y spoke 380. I am thinking of changing it the day i collect my ride. Will changing rims void the PML warranty ? logic tells me should not but i also heard stories....thinking of 18inches rims....any recommendations ? does the new Y spoke 380 has any trade in value ?

3. Rear spoiler, does munich auto has it ? I though i saw it on the brochure but does in comes in white and the cost ? once again, void warranty ?

4. I need DVD player and LCD screen, for my kids who will be at the back seats most of the time, again, i saw the BMW accessories bronchure that there is this LCD screen available (hang behind the front seats), but anyone knows if it is available in singapore. of course, there is a cheaper option called the portable DVD player.......

From my knowledge, I don't think it is the same... to confirm, have to ask Kelvinalevin...

No warranty will be void, less the wheel and tyre warranty... some say will void the suspension warranty if PML want to be anal about it... but 17-18, PML would not even care.... a lot of ppl change rim and PML knew it... As for our rims, just remember that our offset range is 40-45 and to find that kind of rims is not easy... but you can try hurry tires, they did have rims for u... As for the trade in value, do trade it new (

Dear 1series,

My 2 cents worth:

1) My suggestion keep your lights till your 116i's lights need to change than use as an option for replacement. As if it is possible to change to them, I would have to get back to you as my technical team all sleeping at this time of night.
2) We currently, do trade-ins of new stock rims and tires. So once you collect your vehicle come down to Munich Automobiles and I will personally arrange it for you.
3) Yes, we can order all the parts in the known BMW universe, just choose the part and we arrange for everything else. It would not void any warranty as it is aesthetic and where it is installed, there is no crucial components that would be effected. It can be in any colour you want, just must respray in white.
4) There are a variety of options, you can even simply choose to put in Ipads on our exclusive Travel & Comfort range of Ipad holders for the young ones. I have my own kids so I understand the requirement intently.

wait for the M performance kits...slap on some new shoes, tint the window, lup a KS mod in...tilt the front grilles sideways, more aerodynamics...tsk tsk tsk..

Hi,Ivan due to the white strips on the front bumper and i seen most colour for 116i look weird ( only my own view) mineral white match best but will clean like mad! As for the grill white match well too !

Me too! My car is also a mineral white and I also intending to change the grille to black. IMO, It will look very cool... Just look at Hitman car which is white with black grille... FIERCE!!
