Hi, am curious how do i find out the model in terms of Exx of my car?
i know its a 2009 318i.. noticed forum reference these models to Exx..
Is my 2009 318i an E90? is there a official reference from BMW?
Looking to upgrade the rims, and needs to know the max size it can go.
Thanks

Re: quries on model

yes your 318i is a E90. should be able to google for the model numbers. the below serves as a guide for 3 series only

E90: sedan
E91: estate/ wagon
E92: coupe
E93 convertible

Technically, your ride is known as E90N, following realoem.

As for wheels, max, not necessarily optimal sizes, is 19". 19x8 / 19x9 with offsets of +37, +39. Going 20"s for a 318 is suicidal.

I hope I answered each and every point of your query.

Honestly, anything more than 17" rim for 318, will make the car sluggish. For 17", wheel + tyre must be lighter than stock. Otherwise, it is sluggish.

I think it is the common model designation for LCI. i found the same in a german website.
