Reasonable price charged by workshop?

Went to one of our popular workshops today and enquired about workmanship to change my suspension. Obviously the work will involve taking out my 4 tyres, followed by the existing suspension set(Koni FSD + Eibach springs), and then putting on the new suspension sets and then finally the wheels go back on.

Quoted about $200 ! :juggle: And I think it doesnt involve wheel alignment yet, reasonable? Sounds like...:yikess:

Re: Reasonable price charged by workshop?

Beng, ya I think it is ok, lei. Because the back one is a bitch to change. I enquired from a vendor and he also told me that he can recommend a shop to fix and it will cost about 200 also. Cheers! I think that if you enquire at Fong Kim, it will be slightly less.

Re: Reasonable price charged by workshop?

you could always buy those parts from them and find a cheaper installation.

Re: Reasonable price charged by workshop?

Bought my parts from Eng Soon and the workmanship to change my front suspension is $50.

Price is only part of the total package. Are you familiar with the mech? Comfortable with him handling your car? Is there is any problem, is there a form of redress?
