Hi I am due for servicing and since the car has no more warranty anyway am thinking if sending to external but recommended ones .
Got a a few things that I would like to do
1) change filter
2) engine oil minimally
3) fix tension spring creaking sound on back seat

Know any provider that can do everything well at good price or at least close by one another?

Hi R2, I am going R2D for servicing this Wed afternoon. Wanna join me for a drink and we talk about the good old days when we bashed Vader and gang?

Btw you need to call them for appointment. Just mention you are R2D2 and you can get priority treatment!

I feel if u are just doing normal service...most of the workshop can do it...
Only when there are issues with the car...maybe a specialise workshop will be more recommended as they hv encounter the issues more frequently then other workshops.

Im gng to MBM for the regular servicing now as I hv warranty with qbe..after tht I will switch to my friend's workshop. Any issues now which is not cover by the warranty. ..I do it at my friend's workshop... for example...mbm charge me $300 for battery... I got $280 from my friend's shop.

Happy that they came me a quick assessment on the spot identifying the wear and tear and even show it to me.

But don't think they are necessary cheap. Also interesting is that they seem to say they do a lot of stuff but am not sure about it.

But now I know that you need 7L of engine oil... What the.. Hahahhahhaa

Hi,

Like to seek advice on fixing the tension spring creaking sound on back seat for the E70. May I check where you got it fixed in the end and what was the damage?

Thanks
