Scrapping E46 Coupe

Dear All,

Need some information on scrapping my 2003 E46 Coupe. I am preparing to scrape my existing E46 as it's not logical to renew COE now even as I enjoy my ride. I have decided to scrape my almost 10 year old car.

Just asking if anyone know of a good dealer who will take back my ride even if I do not buy any cars from them? or any procedure I can just scrape my car myself and just sell the body to the scrape yard?

u can try selling to dealers first i guess, i think scrapping wise can diy or just drive to a scrapyard

u can always call various dealers for the best price

thing is, your paper value, you have to wait about 2-3 weeks for LTA to process and refund u
not sure if its any faster or slower now

dealer will just buy the car off you for body
if you want them to buy the paper off you, they can
but they usually discount it by 0.5-1%

its also fair, because its cashflow
they need to wait abt 2-3 weeks for LTA to refund them
so the 05-1% they charge u is for fronting the cash for that period
