soft periodic rubbing sound

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum.
Any one experience the abovementioned sound??

Just spent a hefty sum on servicing at PML, but still experiencing this sound.....
Sounds as if some rotating parts are rubbing softly against each other.

Would be pleased to hear from anyone of you GURUS
Car is an E46 320i

Kindly describe the location etc cuz there could be a million places that may have that sound!!!
