Some questions on E60

Hi all,

I'm a owner of a 08 520i, would like to clear some doubts here. Hope you guys here can help. Thanks in advance!

Is it normal to have white smoke from exhaust on and off?
The indicator of our fuel comsumption (....l/100km), is it better to be lower or higer? example better to have 9l/100km or 12.5l/100km?
My understanding is, it would be better to be lower. As in 9l/100km, means u only use 9liter per 100km right?
But i see lots of ppl trying to hit as high as possible, this really puzzled me :ehhh:

White smoke usually spells trouble unless it is cold start in the morning. If it is not the case, better visit a workshop soon.

9/100km is better than 12.5 l/100km because it uses less fuel. I think u are confused with km/litre calculation where u will take 100km divided by 9 and get 11km/litre.

Depends on whether the 2 is solid 2 or weak 2, in which case $200/90/2 is of cos cheaper than $250/90/2

But if solid 2, then even if $500/90/2, I will consider..but must be legal age unlike some turbans here I never say Brobot

or

Wat about bowls of fried rice and mugs of beer? I ate only one bowl of fried rice while I saw 666 eat 3 bowls

I also only ate the tang hoon that came with the bamboo clams and never touched a single clam.

I think we all got overcharged $0.50 cos the zhi char stall counted the beer...

but actually.... mracer77 and myself each paid ala carte the 6 bottles of beer....

if we were indeed overcharged 0.50 for the dinner, then the per pax amount of $58 should have been $57.50..but we each gave Sherman $60, leaving him a change of $2 which he pocketed. If he goes and claim back the 0.50 from the tzi char stall, then he would have pocketed per pax $2.50.

Now, he also said he got commissions from the tzi char stall for bringing such a big group there. Assuming 10% of the bill of $1740 ($58 x 30), he would take $174. Taking into account the pocketed $2.50 for 30 pax = $75, total he pocketed would be $174 + $75 = $249.

Now the bill of $1740 must minus this $249 cos he earn extra one...so bill should then be $1740 - $249 = $1491

and divided by 30 pax , each pax shd then be $49.70 (but everyone paid him $60)

Which means triple chin earned $10.30 extra from each pax and 30 pax makes $309!

I am suing

but a few others saw me walking from drinks stall carrying 3 bottles of beer....

who stole your clams? i suspect its slk...used sherman distract u then he fast hand fast leg Kope!
