Starting the car

Boh liao question but which I am very curious about.

When starting the car by pressing the start/stop button, do you press n let go immediately or press n hold for a while, say, 3-4 seconds before letting go?

Or are u like hitmee, must use chopstick because hand too short?

press n hold for a while, let go immediately when i heard the engine fired up nicely

i let go once engine fire up, bmw starter quite typical won't immediately start up like jap so have to crank awhile, u are right maybe 3 secs.

Mine cranks up at one press so I dunno can straightaway let go or must still hold awhile, or must sell car?

once start pls let go else your starter will up lorry very fast but if u purposely do that just to change to F10 M5 also can

I usually press and let go immediately.

I press once and the engine will take its own cranking to start up. no need to hold.... sometimes when it's still cranking, i changed gear to D, the engine died. So I have to recrank again in P. =)

I press for a good 7 to 8 secs
Oh wait, that was when i have hpfp problem

Now i just say, start engine.







My passenger will press for me

Sorry hor... press n hold is old school... F10 just press and release. Engine sure to fire up.
