Hmmm....just installed on Monday. My car now sounds like a WRX :screwedu: The starting rumble and low bass growl is very nice.......but after a while, it gets a little irritating. When I accelerate hard, it sounds like I am about to race :yikess:
Now I am thinking of putting back my stock muffler. :uhhh:

Yeah...that's what I thought too....especially when I hear the Subaru Boxer engine...and now my muffler. But somehow I prefer the Bimmer to be more refine. Definitely gonna remove the muffler liao. Even my wife think the sound is very beng (no offense!!!). If u r interested, I can sell it to u.
Kenn is right. I do not feel any drop in low end torque...neither did I feel any difference in performance. However, because of the growl...I tend to step softer on the accelerator...dun wan people to think that I am "jioing" them.

Never maintain the chrome tips before. I did not bother to polish them on my previous ride. I used to use autosoil on some old bronze and brass items. They definitely shine.
But...be warned....it is ABRASIVE!!!!

Haha I don't know, never heard the supersprint. But I guess if it sound like WRX! then its very loud for a BMW E90!
Some like the loud exhaust tone, its very personal preference nothing wrong, but I would prefer something more subtle bass, yet nice when rev at high speed, take off or cruising. not sound like WRX, that may be a tad too loud.
Me like stealth, sleeper car =)
