I have gone through 10 sets of rims including the stock ones. It gave me a pure orgasm every time a new set of rims being installed. Rims fetish? No. Stupid? Yes. Happy? Fark yeah.

Reviving this old thread to share my experiences,

went 19 cos wanted to get rid of the run-flats (finding excuses la, just wanted bigger rims for bling)

with a 235/35 profile, ride is bumpy, can feel all the imperfections on the road. haha
but the bling factor is there la.

then the next poison struck, stock rotors look tiny in 19' wheels, so upsized that too.

then local parts dealer tempted me with sports rotors, so that's next on the list.

and yeah, 19' tyres are painful to pay for.
