Temperature and engine oil of 318i

Anyone has idea what the temperature should indicate on the screen. It was 28 degree C but went up to 35 degree C degree driving. Is there something to be done about the coolant since just serviced.
Same for engine oil. It dropped to hold on the screen within a week of city driving. Do I need to top up or is it normal? Thanks.

Looks like you are looking at the ambient temp ?

Engine oil is not suppose to drop in a week...

Yes maybe heard it's the monitor or sensor spoiled. How to check as ppl said don't pour oil in as can lead to overflow if sensor spoilt. Thanks.

Engine oil temp maintain around is 97 c for BMW
Radiator is around 70 c
Outside temp is around 29-32 c singapore.

Yes there is an oil level sensor below the oil sump. Not a regular item to fail.

But if engine oil overfill will be a big issue too

Perhaps you're looking at the wrong indication. Sounds like you're reading the outside air temperature.
Post a picture of your indication and we'll know what you're looking at.
