Anyone plan on getting this? There are quite many changes and new features. But not sure if the price will be much higher, hope not.

If you have noticed, every model will usually be priced higher than the predecessor, even though the OMV is the same (or lower) and the COE remains constant.
Previous ride E60 520i, OMV S$42K, COE S$10K, priced at S$170K lowest price.
Now? If OMV same, COE up 20k to S$30K, can we expect S$190K? ha ha
Govt tax income remain the same, its the Dealer that buff up the premium... sad..

Granted, but it has to take cue from E200 pricing, right?

Probably, but based on C&C's E200 (BMW is slightly cheaper than Merc)
You would have to look at PI's prices for the 'fair' price of ANY ride, as they do not amortize the fancy showroom, 'customer experience' expenses etc, into the final price.
Price = Cost of vehicle (aka OMV) + Govt taxes + Operation cost (Fancy restaurant vs hawker centre) + Profit margin (bungalow vs HDB)
This final 2 components are where AD and PI will differ in staggering figures
The first 2 probably will vary a bit as PI will bring in bare minimum accessories to lower the final govt taxes
You would have to look at PI's prices for the 'fair' price of ANY ride, as they do not amortize the fancy showroom, 'customer experience' expenses etc, into the final price.

i get what you mean. the price difference between AD and PI is large enough to consider taking a "risk" to buy from PI. a check on sgcarmart shows the premium for PML 520i m sport is 43% !!!

Not saying that ADs are bad but the premium sum over the PI cost for marque rides are really suited for those who are better off economically and basically buying time/convenience (the so called piece of mind) with $$, although we still see lemons along the way, both AD and PI.
Of course we won't see Bentley buyers complaining about the high cost....
FYI, I very much trust my go-to workshop (one of the site sponsor here) than the AD workshop, after the 3 free servicing, so warranty is very dependent on individual.
Personally I tend to look at things in terms of % rather than amount, thats why we don't see PI bringing in already low % margin bread-and-butter rides that ADs are currently bringing in, but thats another topic
