Re: The New Car Smell....

This is one of the strangest polls i ever seen but..

I voted for 2.

another interesting poll down the road would be..

Do you buy brand new cars because of the new car smell? Hmm idea.

Re: The New Car Smell....

Just wondering IOGENIC, just what do you actually sell? A product to freshen up cars or some sort of interior treatment (leather? aircon?) to "renew" the new car smell??

Re: The New Car Smell....

I did the Iogenic treatment for my car.

What this does is to coat your interior with bacteria busting stuff that gets rid of bad smells, and neutralizes toxins. In an experiment, bread treated with this stuff stayed normal looking for 1 month, while untreated bread had mushrooms growing out of it.

Now that I'm sufficiently screwed up the proper description of this, I shall let Vek come in and recover the situation. :p

Re: The New Car Smell....

Folks, firstly I must apologise for taking so long to reply to your queries. Over the past month, I'd been unexpectedly held up, but now I'm back and will devote more time and attention to the forum. Once again, deepest apologies for my protracted absence.

Haha! Thanx Bern for the quick introduction on IOGENIC. And no, you did not completely butcher up the description! :nehnehhh:

Like what the ICEMAN mentioned, IOGENIC is an anti-bacterial treatment for car interiors which, once applied, kill bacteria, decompose toxic gases and inhibit the spread of viruses. Its a coating that "scrubs" the interior air, making it healthier for the car's occupants.

As for the new car smell, do check out the article in the Interior section when it comes out.... it will be labelled "The New Car Smell".

I've also posted some articles in the Interior Section, which can be found here (Article 0 - Introduction) and here (Article 1 - Carbon Monoxide)

The bread analogy sounds like embalming to me ..... no offence. : )

Whoever can sell 'new car smell' will make alot of money.....Used cars will get a new lease of life....
