hey folk..!

my yoko advan sport is gonna wear out soon.. dun plan to get new advan sport coze its too soft... now deciding between these few:

1. hankook ventus v12 (cheap but doubtful about its performance)
2. michelin PS3 (can never go wrong)
3. goodyear eagle F1 asym (does the side wall crack problem still exist?)
4. bridgestone potenze re001

need some opinions here...
your opinions will be greatly appreciated..! :inlove:

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR...!

Re: time to change tyres...

i narrowed down to csc3/5 and ps2/3.
settled for ps3 yesterday. not scrubbed in but yet, if i recall my (previous) ps2, i shud be quite happy with this ps3.
so far i had never tried the csc5 though.

Re: time to change tyres...

I hav Hankook V12s and Goodyear F1 asymmetrics. In terms of performance both are pretty good. The v12s I hav are new so they are performing very well. I think the F1s are slightly better but value for $$$ goes to the V12s

Re: time to change tyres...

get Michelin PS3 - Performance and safety in terms of braking distance and excellence grip for both wet and dry!!!

Re: time to change tyres...

i using RE 001....RE 001 good for dry but average for wet..cheerz

Re: time to change tyres...

Just got my csc5. So far, very impressed with the quietness and wet/dry handling.

Re: time to change tyres...

Hi Merlin, what tyre size is your CSC5? Care to share how much u paid for set of 4? thanks

Re: time to change tyres...

Been running Hankook S1 Evo for half a month now. Dry performance pretty good. No problems pushing my stock E60 round corners or during emergency braking. Dont take much risk in the wet, but have not experience any aquaplaning going thru big puddles on the highway at speed limit. Soundwise, this Evo 245 is a tat more silent than my previous was Goodyear Eagle 225.

Best for last - I got them at $308 for 19/245/35

Cheers

Re: time to change tyres...

I send a mail to Michelin Asia to enquire about the Pilot Super Sport (an upgrade from PS2), the reply was local launch for Michelin PSS is sometime in Q2. So those interested may want to wait for a while.

Re: time to change tyres...

Which is better CSC3 or PS3?

Price CSC3 is S$20 more than PS3 for 225/45/.17.

Will change my tyres this weekend :)

Currently using PS2 very happy with these tyres :)

Thanks :)

Hey Bro, I just changed my tires to PS2, using 265/19 for rear... I have been getting quite alot more wheel spin than before, not sure why...

I am willing to buy over yr rear 265/30/19s PS2 at brotherly half price to save you your agony since your car too powerful for those tyres. You need 275 or 285:thumbsup:
