sorry to hear that...i'm no help when it comes to claims etc...but there will be quite a no of experienced chaps here who can help...

Hi Bro..from your point of story..cfm the lorry at fault. Usually insurance wont pay u the full value of the car but the market value only. Means ur type of car(325i) value comparing with others 325i in the market without ur loan interest. Nway..if clear cut cases..usually within 3 to 6 mths. If earlier then ur insurance company very efficient. Tink there is a scrap yard for BMW around Sungei Kadut area but i forget the company name start with P.

I think you should go ahead with a full insurance claim against the lorry driver. Assuming everything you have stated is exactly point by point similar to the event day itself. I would be pretty darn sure you will receive a compensation from the other party's insurance (unless that dude is driving without insurance then different story altogether).

Is it possible for you to sue the lorry's insurance company for all of your proximate losses including loan prepayment penalty and full price of the car that you paid (proof permitting) plus any fair compensatory measures you had to take while you were without the car such as hiring another one, plus legal costs?
Rather dumb that these insurance companies take 3-6 months to dispense the monies.
Anyway Ross, you've lived to tell the tale (and indeed you have told the tale ). I know you feel like crap that your car has been smashed literally 4 days after you bought it, but you're a superman. I would feel exceptionally empowered if I were you. Its not everday that the universe sends you a message of your invincibility. Great !

i have some bumpers in my attic...and some lights i believe... let me check it out and let u know later.... be happy to pass them along if u dun mind them used and all... free up some attic space for other stuff..like superchrgers, etc!!...hehhe...(i wish..)
