this is a very extreme case. refular changing of engine oil at 10000km to 15000km intervals shld surfice.

It's definitely possible.
And for all you know, many cars are running around with engines like that.
Unknown to their respective owners.

Yes. mine WAS like that.
previous owner must've followed BMW's servicing schedule too religiously.

Thanks to Rod @ R2D & his rigorous cleaning.

(Read : Spray until sludge tio his face)
It's practically sparkling now...

i dun get it. u mean following 10000km engine oil change will still kena engine sludge?

In the past the servicing schedule was every 25,000km.

10,000km should be fine.
5,000km if you want to be kiasu.

nope, but going for 20+ 000km in between oil changes can result in choclate fudge over the whole engine..

look horrible, like SLK69 slipped disc... i kia su, change every 6000km - 8000km

obviously they didnt watch Mobil Engine Oil advertisement during Formula One race screenings. The one with the irritating de, de de de DE! (low D, then one octave higher D, stupid melody)

that one can whack 100000km and still be very very clean.

Every 500km change no problem. Add your leftover extra virgin olive oil also can. As long as Terry happy. I hear Hummers can also add Singer oil.
