What is your fuel consumption and wheels configuration?

PC - 7.5 km/l
Model - 325i
Wheels config - 19" Non run-flat, staggered 225 front / 265 back
Fuel - SPC 95 or 98 (robot cheapo)

Anyway, if your survey can take into account the rough % of highway/city driving, the result can be more representative. For example, my 7.5 km/l looks worse off than your 8.0 km/l, but the main reason may not be because of 19" vs 18" - it may be because of driving pattern. I said this because my FC is totally different when I drive 80%C 20% H versus 20% C 80% H.
But nevermind la, aga aga can already....
So HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!! HUAT AH!!

din realise the 125 consumption is so high. from what is displayed so far, seems even more than 335

Ya, am actually surpirsed at the FC some 335 bros are getting. I think it must be the route....those with average speed below 30km/hr are likely to be driving mostly in start-stop traffic - and it doesn't help if they are like Banana and me, still like to chiong !

Possibly. Or maybe it's just a case of a heavy foot

Re: What is your fuel consumption and wheels configuration?

E46 318i, year 04, 18" staggered oz leg, 225/255
vpower
80c, 20h = 8-9km/l
50c, 50h = ~10km/l

Seldom carry passengers.

Re: What is your fuel consumption and wheels configuration?

Heavy foot by itself may not increase FC significantly, as u will tend to up shift faster as compared to driving in the lower gear for longer. jawzsg say one:)
In start-stop traffic, heavy or light foot, or metal foot, FC also bad.
So conclusion is, cheong is good for ur car, ur pocket and ur mental satisfaction:chinese::slaphead:

Anyone interested in chionging north? Guaranteed to increase your avg speed by 20 km/h at least. Need to unleash it once in a while else it'll get fat and lazy. As it is, it already has a belly.:laughlik:

sorry my FC totally sucks. Am driving new e92 323i on 17" Runflats Continental tyres.

I get 18.5L per 100km or 5.4km per litre

SOMETHING IS TERRIBLY WRONG MAYBE THERE IS FUEL LEAK OR FUEL PUMP FAILURE???

Try resetting ur avg spped. Esp after repair or servicing with pml, ur avg speed will become very low... Think they idle for toooooooo long..

Mine
fc: ~9.5km/l
avg speed: ~38km/l.
95 oct and 98 oct fuel.
E90 320i

Cant be this is a brannd new car less then 2 weeks old its never been serviced before. Could it be engine not yet run-in?

The PI said engine is already run-in....

I do note engine is not smooth initially but is gradually loosening up. My FC is slowly improving....today its 17.9L per 100km (from 18.5L).....
