Whats the drawback on used imports?

i know this has been discussed before... but i couldnt find the specific thread...

so...

whats the disadvantage on buying a used import? other than aftersales / warranty


which will make more sense... buying a 100k omv used import with new 10 year coe

or

buying a 5 year old car with 5 year coe left..... but with 200k omv....

Remember that used import PARF eligibility starts from the first registration date and not the registration date in SG, so calculation of annual depre is different from a normal registered car.

Biggest risk is how it has been "used" prior to import.

Anyone knows why are used import selling as much as local ones?

anw how reliable is TWM warranty for used imports..in this case they are recommending MBM wheelspower... any experience with them?
