Which is safer? Harbourfront or Vivocity carpark?

I intend to park overnight for about 36 hours to go Batam run lion.

Which of these two carparks are safer? The last I heard a few years back was that Harbourfront carpark had a dubious reputation for being a car thieves' and vandalisers' haven. I remember one of the forummers' dad's Lexus SUV was stolen.

Between the two, of coz Vivocity rates are more ex, about $50 for 36 hours compared to Harbourfront's $38-42 for same period of time

Anyone any feedback?

Oh n the reason why I want to park there is cos a few times I run lion to batam n bintan, come back on Sunday the taxi stand is cb long like ppl queuing for iPhone launch n waiting time is like 1hour or more. In the end, with whatever surcharge added in, total from there to my house in Pasir Ris was about $30...

555 where also unsafe... too unique. would suggest u borrow a helicopter from jasonmaxi since u alone..

I would suggest VivoCity but near entrances to the Mall. As added features to have further peace of mind, try one of e 2 suggestion below;

1. Remember to bring along 4 bricks. After u parked e car, remove all 4 wheels, keep it in e boot and let e car stand on 4 bricks.
2. Remove the steering wheel after parking, like what Mr. Bean would do.

Harbour front lar. Vivo too big! Need to walk to the terminal too far.
Cheaper also. If yr car meant to be stolen will be stolen.

It was safe but not anymore now as everyone knows a 555 would be parked there one of the next few weekends.

If VivoCity, I personally prefer e upper deck. Park on e level (forgot which level) where it is same level as the rail station to Sentosa, human traffic is good during 'biz hour'.

i let upark at one deg 15, then pass u rubber dinghy, u paddle to harbor

Vivocity, look for those single lot at the basements, with security camera
I find harbourfront lots narrower, darker, and exposed to rain and sunshine

Harbour front tower 1 safest. Got jaga and camera. If really want HFC then park at lvl 4 (I think) near the car wash guy. Lots on that row are bigger and below a camera.
